3-4 guild members take on all comers in this first ever MFFG prize play for Longsword and/or Dusack.
(Approx. 80 - 100 free fights against like weapon, see the Prize Play Rules at bottom of page)
3.30-4.30 Deciphering the Rose — Jon Wolfe provides assistance in unlocking and using that enigmatic technique known as the Rose.
4.30-5.30 Freeplay/Sparring as a training tool — methods for ramping up your longsword sparring by Mike Vaughn.

3-4 Warclub and Stick fighting based upon principles and techniques of Longsword, Dussack and the KunstFechten, by Mike Cartier

Meyer Freifechter Guild Freyfechter Rank prize play Rules:
- Prize Player must pass written online Guild test with a 50% pass rate (History, Meyer Concepts and use of weaponry) - Prize Player must pass a verbal Jury of Peers test by answering and/or performing questions on the Meyer system - Prize Player must fight 80 to 100 free fights against like weapon (longsword vs longsword, dusack vs dusack, steel vs steel, leather vs leather, plastic vs plastic etc. If no agreement on the type of weapon is ageeed upon the choice is made by the prize player.

PASS RATE is 50% win rate.(Double kills do not count for either fighter and the Vitterschlagge rule is in effect (counted as double kill if countered within one beat after you strike hits)
- 3 Judges, 2 scoring and one tie breaker if needed.
- Fighters cannot argue with Judges on their own behalf but are allowed to take honorable exception to taking a point if opponent actualy won the point
